Say it with FLOWER

I can't say I had too much to do with the amazing flowers at my wedding.

I chose my florist. All I told her was that my colors are pink and orange, and my flower of choice is the gerber daisy. The rest was in her hands. I didn't even know what she had planned until the day of my wedding, but I was very pleased with the outcome. There is probably nothing that I would have changed.

a few ALTAR-cations

Decor for the altar can be a little tricky.

My story starts out with my handy man father insist that he create a beautiful center piece for our altar that we will stand under to recite our vows. The sentiment was beautiful. The creation that I was greeted with was not as beautiful....



After hours of working, my dad presented this to me. I couldn't possibly turn his hard work away. My brilliant mother gathered her tulle, looked on the bright side, and with some hard work and the right attitude, we created a beautiful alter piece.

My Future Hubby & I..

For as long as my future hubby and I have been together, we pretty much knew that we wanted to get married. At the time, we said "in two or three years".

I recently found out that he put a baby in my tummy, so we decided to move that two or three year marriage plans up to two months! (He actually wanted to wait a few months longer, but I refused--- I do not want to be a fatty bride!)

I hope to have an elegant wedding, but time constraints limit me to Do - It - Yourself style!

We set the location for my parent's backyard and plan to have about 250 guests. (Filipino families come large)

I'm excited for the wedding, but most of all, I'm excited to spend the rest of my life with my soul mate. =)
